INTERESTING FACTS | 3CR12 STAINLESS STEEL
|
|
|
3CR12 was developed in South Africa during the
1970’s by Columbus Stainless, in order to provide a superior
alternative to coated carbon steels and other materials. Cost
reduction is obtained by eliminating protective treatments. It is
used for mining, materials handling and sugar industries due to its
resistance to corrosion and wet abrasion.

Our austenitic stainless steel A2/ A4 fasteners

Why is the hotdog called a hot dog?
Whatever its ultimate origins, German immigrants brought the food
to New York in the 1860s, where street vendors sold them as
“dachshund sausages,” presumably because of their shape. It is from
this that the term hot dog derives!
On the first Friday of every month, our Sales Counter will be
giving a free German hotdog to each customer that stops by! Come
and enjoy a true German delicacy on us!
